Stuart Ratti Director
Stuart Ratti commenced working in private practice in 1987 and qualified as a solicitor of the Supreme Court in 1989.
Stuart has practiced in Swansea for over for over 35 years. He is a member of the Law Society Family Accreditation Scheme and is a member of Resolution. He specialises in litigation and has a wealth of experience in family law matters.
With decades of experience, Stuart is well known for his practical, clear advice and his ability to guide clients through complex disputes with clarity and confidence.
Jemma Merrell director
Jemma Merrell qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and has extensive experience across a broad range of legal areas, including family law, litigation, conveyancing and wills and probate.
Her varied background allows her to provide well rounded and practical advice, particularly where legal issues overlap.
Jemma is valued for her supportive approach and she is committed to delivering a personal service and ensuring clients feel confident and informed at every stage of their matter.
Laura Johnson
DIRECTOR
Laura Johnson qualified in 2007 and joined the firm in 2020. She specialises in both residential conveyancing and commercial property work.
Laura has significant experience acting for developers in selling new build sites, as well as advising on commercial leases. Her background allows her to handle complex matters efficiently while maintaining a clear and practical approach for clients.
Laura is known for her thorough commercially minded advice and her ability to manage complex transactions smoothly.
Andrew Thomas
DIRECTOR
Andrew qualified in 1991 and specialises in conveyancing and wills and probate.
He advises on a wide range of residential property matters, as well as estate planning and administration.
Andrew is careful and methodical in his approach and provides his clients with reliable advice tailored to each client’s circumstances.
Andrew has many years of experience in practice and offers a professional and reassuring service to his clients.
Mandy Thomas

Having qualified in 2007, Mandy has worked in various law firms across South Wales; resulting in a broad knowledge of the South Wales Property Market.
Mandy specialises in all aspects of residential conveyancing, including house/flat purchases or sales, freehold and leasehold titles, shared equity and shared ownership and Equity release mortgages.
In dealing with such a broad range of property based legal matters and transactions, Mandy has the expertise to provide not only legal advice but to always provide our clients with support in a professional manner. She takes a proactive and reassuring approach when guiding clients through their conveyancing transactions to ensure matters run as smoothly as possible. With experience, she has built up strong working relationships with local estate agents and other property professionals.
Angharad Thomas SOLICITOR
Angharad Thomas qualified as a solicitor in 2025 and practices in family law, litigation, conveyancing and wills and probate.
She works with clients across a range of matters offering a thorough and approachable service. Angharad is committed to building strong client relationships and providing clear and practical advice tailored to each individual’s circumstances.
As a recently qualified solicitor, Angharad bring a modern and diligent approach while working closely with senior colleagues to ensure clients receive a high standard of representation.
Claire Davies CONVEYANCING MANAGER
Claire Davies is the firm’s Conveyancing Manager and specialises in residential conveyancing.
Claire joined the firm in 2002 and has extensive experience in handling all aspects of property transactions, including purchases, sales, auctions, new builds and leases.
Her long service with the firm provides continuity and reassurance to clients navigating what is often one of the most significant transactions of their lives.
James Tonner
retired CONSULTANT
James Tonner qualified as a solicitor in 1966 and established the firm in 1975. He has been an integral part of the firm since its formation.
Having worked part time as a Consultant up until 31 May 2026, James is now enjoying retirement.
